With summer almost here, it’s time to pounder on things that you should keep in mind to keep your babies comfortable throughout the summer. Summer brings along hosts of issues which if you are not careful about can create uneasy situations for your baby, such as heat rashes. 

Skin of a newborn baby may be flawless, but it is very sensitive and susceptible to heat rashes and other skin conditions. Fortunately heat rashes are short-lived and clear up on their own over time.
According to pediatricians in extreme cases, you may need to apply creams and ointments to resolve the issue.

Finding rashes on your baby’s skin can be quite alarming and you should get it checked by a child care specialist and follow their recommendations. Though a rash in few rare case mean serious issues, in most case you don’t have to worry about it. 

Heat is one of the reasons for babies to develop rash, especially when many moms overzealously wrap their babies in too many layers. Heat rash appears as a tiny red bumps or sometimes like blisters when babies get hot and sweaty. 

Sometimes heat rashes may develop despite all the care you have taken. Since it can lead to discomfort and irritation, you should know how to treat baby heat rashes. Blocked sweat glands are the main cause behind heat rashes in babies and they get cleared up fast and on their own. Here are five easy tips to treat heat rashes on babies: Remove all the excess cloth from your baby and make them comfortable. Dress your baby in cotton cloth since synthetic fabrics like polyester and nylon trap heat and don’t allow air to pass through.  Carefully observe your baby during this time, since you may need to warm your baby again as the body temperature drops.  Take your baby to a pediatrician if the heat rash has not healed in a day or two.
